Information

The Saluki dog is one of the oldest breed of dogs where its origins can be traced back to at least 7000 BC. The Saluki originates in the Middle East and gets its name comes from Saluq, an ancient city in Arabia, and was originally used to hunt large game such as hare, foxes, wolves and gazelle. The Saluki is known for their intelligence, stamina, and loyalty making them highly prized by the Bedouin.

This Saluki by David Mayer has been cast separately from its base in white metal, measures 2.9 inches ( 7.4 cm) tall and supplied unpainted. It would make a great addition to any performance set up, or even as a sculpture for your mantelpiece.
